Welcome

The International Fiscal Association (IFA) is a unique, leading non-governmental, and non-sectoral international organisation dealing with tax and fiscal law and policy globally. Established in 1938, IFA provides a neutral and independent platform where representatives of all professions and interests can meet and discuss international tax issues at the highest level.

The Australian Branch of IFA was established in 1957 to provide a platform for members, consisting of professionals from both public and private sector, to come together and discuss topical international tax and fiscal issues with the objective to advance international and comparative fiscal law. The Australian Branch of IFA also contributes to international IFA research publications, conducts seminars across Australia and regionally.  The Branch provides a unique forum for practitioners, taxpayers, academics, government officials and the judiciary to network and interact.
