About the conference

IFA Australia is proud to host its first Australia-India Joint International Tax Conference in Melbourne on Wednesday 4 June 2025.

In today’s uncertain global environment, effective international tax cooperation between Australia and India is more important than ever. This year’s conference will focus on exploring the challenges and opportunities within this vital bilateral relationship against a backdrop of global economic shifts, rapid digitalisation and landmark international reforms like the OECD/G20 Two-Pillar solution.

Renowned speakers including leading practitioners, international tax experts, senior revenue officials, and academics from both nations will lead discussions examining how key issues like evolving nexus rules, substance requirements, the global minimum tax and cross-border restructuring specifically impact Australia-India tax arrangements and collaboration.
