Speaker: David Bradbury

David Bradbury (Head of Tax Policy & Statistics, CTPA, OECD) David leads a team of economists, lawyers and statisticians focused on delivering tax policy advice, tax data and economic and statistical analysis. David was a key contributor to the OECD/G20 BEPS Project and led the OECD’s involvement with the Task Force on Digital Economy. Prior to joining the OECD, David practised as a tax lawyer at Blake Dawson (now Ashurst) and subsequently served as a Member of Parliament and a Minister, including as the Assistant Treasurer.

Speaker: Caroline Malcolm

Caroline Malcolm (Head of Global Blockchain Policy Centre, OECD) Caroline is a senior public policy leader focused on the technology and finance sectors. Originally practising as a tax lawyer (at the AGS), Caroline joined the OECD in 2010 and has since established its Global Blockchain Policy Centre, the hub for the OECD’s work relating to distributed ledger technologies. Prior to her current role, Caroline established the Tax Inspectors without Borders initiative and led work exploring the policy implications of emerging technologies in taxation.

Speaker: Cory Hillier

Cory Hillier (Senior Counsel – Tax Law, IMF) Cory is a senior lawyer within the IMF specialising in international taxation. Cory works across a broad range of tax policy areas, including transfer pricing, digitalisation, anti-avoidance, financial services and dispute resolution. Prior to joining the IMF in 2015, Cory practised as a lawyer at King & Wood Mallesons, Henry Davis York (now Norton Rose Fulbright) and Ernst & Young.

Thomas Ickeringill (Allens, Senior Associate) Thomas is the Australian Young IFA representative and a senior tax lawyer at Allens. Thomas advises corporate taxpayers across all areas of taxation, with a specialisation in international taxation and transfer pricing. Prior to joining Allens in 2020, Thomas completed an MSc in Taxation at the University of Oxford and worked as a senior tax adviser in London.
