Michelle de Niese (Executive Director, Corporate Tax Association) Michelle de Niese is the Executive Director of the Corporate Tax Association. Prior to her time at the Corporate Tax Association Michelle worked at Minter Ellison in their Melbourne tax team. Michelle started her career at the Australian Taxation Office, where she worked in the Large Business and International business line and the Tax Counsel Network.

Colleen Laduzinski (Partner, Jones Day) Colleen Laduzinski is Partner-in-Charge of Jones Day’s Boston Office and previously spent two decades in Jones Day’s New York Office. She is a trusted advisor on the tax aspects of US domestic and cross-border capital markets and financing transactions, bankruptcies and restructurings, and she provides tax counsel on M&A transactions, private equity deals and litigation settlements. Her significant publications include three Bloomberg BNA Tax Management Portfolios on corporate bankruptcy and financial restructurings.

Viva Hammer (Legislation Counsel, U.S Joint Committee on Taxation) While at the Joint Committee on Taxation in the US Congress, Viva Hammer was lead counsel on the international provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, the most significant US tax reform in 30 years. She also designed the Modernization of Derivatives Tax Act (MODA) for Senator Wyden and the Progressive Goods and Services Act for Senator Cardin. Viva received her B.Ec./LLB, with First Class Honours, from the University of Sydney and has practiced in Washington DC and New York, as a partner in a major law firm and a Big Four Accounting firm, as well as at the Office of Tax Policy at the US Treasury.
